About us
We are Hamza and Serhat. Together we moved from Berlin to the Cretan mountain village of Melambes because we followed the island’s call. We are passionate about its natural beauty, its age-old traditions, and its hospitable people. Whereas many destinations with similar attractions are already saturated and overrun by mass tourism, South Crete in particular has retained a lot of its pristine charms. Many guests appreciate the small-scale, improvised and rustic tourism establishments here. However, there is also a growing demand for services that combine a traditional personal touch with attention to detail, luxury and a sense of sustainability. We have set out to deliver just that with our own boutique hotel, The Grove Crete, which we aim to build near the village of Saktouria. At the same time, we use our experience to the benefit of other local hospitality businesses to join forces on the way to develpoping South Crete carefully and with respect to its traditions, environment and people.

Co-OwnerWith a university degree in facility management and as a ployglot, speaking multiple languages fluently, Hamza co-founded tgc services to share his professional experience with clients. He combines a distinct sense of design and attention to detail with problem-solving and practical skills that are essential for the company’s distinct quality of services.

Co-Owner
Serhat has experience in single-handedly managing a holiday resort in South Crete to five-star guest reviews. He had a successful academic career and has worked as a journalist, project manager and tour guide in Asia before following his passion for Greek culture and moving to Crete. As a people-person, he is passionate about guest relations and making sure that clients and customers alike feel well-informed and taken care of.
